Three months ago, I did the best thing I have ever done: I married Alex, and since then everything has looked, smelled, sounded, tasted — felt — completely different.
Everything we do is more exciting.
The mundane has become exceedingly interesting.
The Pacific Northwest is somehow more beautiful.
It’s like I’m floating on air.
This past month has featured a lot of camping, a lot of hiking, and a lot of highway diner food. We’ve been loving the rain and the chilly weather, cozying up with mugs of hot chocolate nightly, and getting pretty good (if I do say so myself!) at ping pong.
Many more adventures are planned for the next few weeks, including more camping and hiking, seeing Alex’s mom, and holiday cooking — which may end up being more of a misadventure.
All I know is that three months of marriage has been amazing, and I don’t know how it could get any better! But then again, I’ve said that for six and half years 😉

All I can say is that marriage has made you even more radiant, and your happiness is palpable. You guys are truly a gorgeous, amazingly adorable couple.
